Without Anthony Davis, the Lakers undoubtedly struggled throughout the Suns-Lakers Round 1 series. Yet, in stunningly high fashion form the Phoenix Suns put on a dominating performance in Game 6 to defeat the defending champions 113-100.

Setting a record high 10 made 3 pointers in just the first quarter, the Suns were relentless from the very beginning. With a combination of Devin Booker's 22 pts and Jae Crowders back to back 3s in the first quarter, the Lakers never found an answer for this high pressure offense.

Although Lakers PF Anthony Davis started and tried to help his team, the obvious lack of lateral movement and ability to move around the court, only allowed him 5 minutes of play time in the first quarter, until he was sidelined for the rest of the game.

Throughout each quarter of the matchup, the Suns applied immeasurable amounts of pressure from 3-pt range shooting 51.4%, and 95.% from the free throw line.

Four-time NBA Champion Lebron James desperately tried to force a Game 7 with his 29 pts., 9 rebounds and 7 assists. However, Sun's Devin Booker was simply unstoppable with his 47 pts, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Further, for the first time since 2010, neither Lebron James or Steph Curry will be featured in the NBA Finals. The exciting young talent in Devin Booker, Luka Doncic, Donovan Mitchell, and Trae Young will however, make the rest of the playoffs even more enjoyable to watch.
